Factobi Studio - Chrome Extension

Factobi Studio is an AI-agent automation platform that can control and automate actions in Google Chrome. This Chrome extension is the required companion component for running automations created in iFact or Factobi Studio. On its own, the extension does not provide standalone functionality; it only works while a desktop instance of iFact or Factobi Studio is running at the same time.

The extension’s main role is to enable reliable browser automation by supporting recording and replaying of step-by-step sequences in Chrome. When you record a workflow, the extension helps capture the interactions needed to reproduce it later (for example, clicks, navigation, form filling, and other common web actions). When you replay a workflow, it helps execute those recorded steps as directed by your iFact/Factobi Studio agents.

Because browser automation requires deep access to page content and browser behavior, the extension requests broad permissions. These permissions are used to observe and interact with web pages during recording and to perform the same actions during replay. The extension itself does not collect or transmit information. However, your iFact or Factobi Studio application can be configured to extract data from webpages as part of an automation, depending on the workflow you build.

How to use:
1) Install the Factobi Studio Chrome extension.
2) Start iFact or Factobi Studio on your computer.
3) Create an automation (or AI agent workflow) and choose Chrome as the target.
4) Record a sequence in the browser, then replay it to automate repeated tasks. more
